Luther's Story 📖

A long, long time ago — way back in 1775 — America wasn’t its own country yet. The King of England made rules for the people living here, and many people thought those rules weren’t fair.

Luther Blanchard was a young man who lived in a small town in Massachusetts. He was a fifer, which means he played a small instrument like a whistle called a fife. Fifers were very important — their music helped soldiers know what to do!

One spring morning, soldiers from England came marching toward Luther, his brother Cavin, and his friends, called the Minutemen, gathered together to protect their homes.

That morning was the beginning of a big change. It was the start of the American Revolution, and brave people like Luther helped America become the free country it is today!
